iProGadgets OEM Repair Parts for the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable X3P5J — Screen Reference and Fitment Check

Quick answer: this is a brand-new 13.0 inch 1920 x 1280 touch screen assembly for the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable only, part X3P5J / 0X3P5J, panel— 3:2 aspect ratio, 500 nits, 100% sRGB, 30-pin eDP, with the digitizer and Gorilla Glass bonded on. Read this before ordering: Dell also sold a Latitude 7320 clamshell and a Latitude 7320 2-in-1, both of which are a wider 16:9 panel on a different connector and take a completely different screen. This part fits the Detachable tablet only. Every unit is double tested before shipping and covered by a 30-day return window on unused, uninstalled parts.

  • Fit: The 13.0 inch 1920 x 1280 touch assembly for the Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable — the Surface-style tablet, not the clamshell laptop — under part X3P5J and 0X3P5J. 3:2 aspect ratio, 30-pin eDP connector at the bottom right, narrow frame, digitizer and Gorilla Glass bonded to the LCD
  • Panel: a touch assembly — the LCD, the touch digitizer and the bonded Gorilla Glass 6 DX cover, ready to fit as one unit. 13.0 inch, 3:2, 1920 x 1280, 500 nits, 100% sRGB, on a 30-pin eDP connector. It is not a bare panel: on this machine the glass and the digitizer come with the screen
  • Testing: every unit is double tested before shipping — display check, touch check and fitment check against the machine it is sold for

Technical Specifications

Item Detail
The machine this screen is sold for The Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable — the detachable tablet with the magnetic keyboard and the kickstand. Only this one. Dell also sold a Latitude 7320 clamshell and a Latitude 7320 2-in-1; both of those are 13.3 inch, 16:9 and 1920 x 1080, and neither takes this screen. The quick way to tell them apart: the Detachable is a tablet whose keyboard comes off, and its screen is 3:2 (taller than wide in the modern sense), not 16:9
Part numbers covered X3P5J and 0X3P5J, cross-referenced by suppliers with J5RTR, NW3NF and X097F (each also written with a leading zero) plus 394WJ, 391-BFVJ and H1CPH. All of them describe this one 13.0 inch touch assembly. Read the label on your old screen and send it to us
Screen size — the 13.3 in listings are wrong 13.0 inches diagonal, 3:2 aspect ratio, about 178 PPI. Several resellers print 13.3 inches for this part; that is a generic 13.3 inch template reused across many listings, and it is wrong. Dell's own configuration sheet for the Detachable reads 13.0 inch, and 1920 x 1280 at 13.0 inch is exactly the 178 PPI that reviewers measured on a retail unit. If you measure your old screen and get something nearer 13.3, you are almost certainly measuring the diagonal of a different machine
Resolution — check this first 1920 x 1280 (FHD+ / WUXGA), 3:2. Not 1920 x 1080, and not 1920 x 1200 — both of those figures appear in reseller listings for this part and both are wrong. The clamshell 7320 is the 1920 x 1080 machine, which is how the mistake spreads. If your screen reports 1920 x 1080, you are looking at a different Latitude and this part will not fit. Check under Settings, System, Display, Display resolution
Panel technology IPS-type LCD with WLED backlighting, bonded touch assembly: the LCD, the capacitive touch digitizer and a Gorilla Glass 6 DX cover glass are laminated into one part. There is no separate digitizer film to transfer from your old screen and no air gap — which is also why this part is supplied as a complete assembly rather than as a bare panel. Low blue light, anti-reflective and anti-smudge coating on the glass
Brightness, gamut and contrast 500 nits as configured by the machine, 100% sRGB, contrast ratio 1700:1. An independent review measured a retail unit of this machine at 496 cd/m² in the centre and 471 cd/m² average across the surface, with 100% sRGB coverage — which is what a 500 nit panel should measure. This is a bright, wide-gamut screen for a business tablet, and it is one of the reasons the Detachable costs what it does
Touch Yes — touch is built in. Every Latitude 7320 Detachable is a touch tablet; there is no non-touch configuration of this machine, so there is no touch and non-touch version to choose between on this listing. The digitizer is part of the assembly you receive, not a separate layer you reuse
Signal interface and connector eDP, 30 pins, at the bottom right as you look at the back of the assembly. Because the digitizer is bonded and wired inside the assembly, there is one display connector to seat, not a display lead plus a separate touch lead
Outline and handling Narrow frame, supplied as a complete front assembly with the glass already bonded. Handle it by the edges of the frame, never by pressing on the glass, and never flex the assembly — laminated glass and LCD cannot move independently, so a flex that would only worry a bare panel will crack this one
Condition Brand-new, unassembled

Before We Ship — Please Send Us These 2 Details

Dell sold three different machines under the name Latitude 7320, and only the Detachable tablet takes this screen. The two clamshell versions are 13.3 inch 16:9 and look similar in photos. After you place the order we will contact you for the two items below, so please have them ready:

  1. Your service tag. The seven-character code on the underside or behind the kickstand of the tablet. It identifies the exact machine and configuration, and it is how we confirm you have the Detachable rather than the clamshell or the 2-in-1.
  2. A photo of the label on the back of the old screen assembly. The part number is printed on it — X3P5J, 0X3P5J, J5RTR, NW3NF or X097F, depending on the batch. That label is the only reliable way to match a Dell screen, because the same machine ships with several service codes that all describe this one panel.

We check your details against our stock before dispatch. If anything does not match we will contact you first instead of sending a part that may not fit. Once confirmed, we arrange shipment within 1 to 3 business days. Thank you for helping us get it right.

Installation Notes

  • Power the tablet off completely, then disconnect the battery before opening anything. A bonded touch assembly carries both the display rails and the digitizer, and neither is designed to be mated with the board energised.
  • This is a laminated assembly, not a bare panel: the glass, the digitizer and the LCD are one part. There is no separate glass to lift off and no digitizer film to peel and transfer — you remove the whole front and fit the whole front.
  • Work with heat and patience around the frame. The assembly is held by adhesive and clips; a cold pry on laminated glass chips the edge, and a chipped edge is not a warranty case.
  • Release the 30-pin eDP connector on the bottom right as you look at the back of the assembly. Lift the latch before pulling, and never pull on the cable itself.
  • Clean the flex cable contacts with alcohol before assembly and confirm the connector is fully seated and latched.
  • Do not pull, tear or push on the flex cable, be careful during installation.
  • Test the display and the touch before the adhesive is fully pressed down. Touch calibration issues are almost always a connector not fully seated, and they are much easier to fix before the assembly is bonded in place.
  • Please handle the assembly carefully, because laminated glass is too fragile to take pressure on its face.

Quality Control

Strictly tested by the iProGadgets QC Team — every unit is double tested before shipping and ships in good working order, including a display check at full resolution. After receiving the part, please check the appearance and test it first: connect the part to the machine for a functional test before full installation, and only reassemble once everything works. We are not responsible for any installation mistakes — if you are not experienced with laptop screen replacement, have the part fitted by a professional repair shop.

Shipping

We ship worldwide. Orders are dispatched within 1 to 3 business days, and every package carries a tracking number you can follow on the order page. Delivery typically takes 7 to 10 days after dispatch.

Returns & Warranty

30-day returns on unused, uninstalled parts. The warranty is valid until installed — once a screen has been fitted, the return window no longer applies, which is why we ask you to test before installation.

FAQs

How do I know my machine is the Detachable and not the normal Latitude 7320?

The Detachable is a tablet — the keyboard is a separate magnetic piece that clips on and comes off, and there is a kickstand on the back. The ordinary Latitude 7320 and the 7320 2-in-1 are folding laptops with a hinge. There is a second, faster check: the Detachable screen is 3:2 and 1920 x 1280, while both clamshells are 16:9 and 1920 x 1080. Look at Settings, System, Display, Display resolution. If it says 1920 x 1080, this is not your part — send us the service tag and we will quote the correct screen.

Is this a complete assembly or just the LCD panel?

It is the complete front assembly: LCD, capacitive touch digitizer and bonded Gorilla Glass 6 DX in its frame, ready to fit as one unit. On a Detachable there is no practical way to replace the LCD alone — the layers are laminated, so a bare panel would have to be separated from the glass and re-bonded, which is a factory process. The keyboard, the pen and the kickstand are not included; they are separate parts.

Which part number will be on my old screen?

Suppliers cross-reference several codes against this one assembly: X3P5J and 0X3P5J, J5RTR and 0J5RTR, NW3NF and 0NW3NF, X097F and 0X097F, plus 394WJ, 391-BFVJ and H1CPH. They all describe the same 13.0 inch 1920 x 1280 touch assembly for the Detachable. Read the label on the back of the screen you are removing and send us a photo — we match on the label rather than on the model name, because the model name is shared by three different machines.

Why do some listings say 13.3 inch or 1920 x 1080 for this part?

Because those listings were written from a template. Several resellers describe this assembly as 13.3 inch and 1920 x 1080, which are the figures for the clamshell Latitude 7320 — a different machine with a different screen. Dell's own configuration sheet for the Detachable reads 13.0 inch, 3:2, 1920 x 1280, and an independent review measured a retail unit at 496 nits with 178 PPI, which is exactly what 1920 x 1280 on a 13.0 inch panel gives. If a listing tells you 1920 x 1080, it is describing the wrong machine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this part compatible with my device?

This listing is for Display For DELL Latitude 7320 Detachable Tablet X3P5J 0X3P5J LCD Touch Screen Assembly. It is built as a direct-fit replacement for the model named in the title. Match the model number in the title against your own device before ordering. If you are not sure which version you need, email sales@iProGadget.com and we will confirm the correct part for you.

What is the quality of these replacement parts?

We supply iProGadgets OEM Quality / Premium Compatible replacement parts. Every part is manufactured to OEM specifications, so the fit, finish and function match the original component it replaces, and each unit is individually tested before it leaves our warehouse.

Is the part tested before it is shipped?

Yes. Every part we sell is inspected before dispatch and tested wherever testing applies — screen assemblies are checked on the panel, the touch response and the connector. Orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days after payment is confirmed.

How long does shipping take?

Orders leave our warehouse within 1-3 business days. Express Shipping (DHL, UPS or FedEx) takes 5-8 working days and is normally used for parcels over 2 kg. Registered Air Post takes 10-20 working days and is normally used for parcels under 2 kg. Every order ships with a tracking number. Customs clearance can add extra time, especially during peak season.

Will I be charged import duties or customs fees?

Customs charges depend on your own country's import rules and its de minimis threshold, not on the seller. Some destinations apply no duty at all on lower-value parcels, and where duty or VAT does apply it is collected by your local post office or courier before delivery. We ship every order with complete and accurate commercial documents, which is what keeps a parcel moving through customs instead of sitting in it. If you would like to estimate the charges before you order, email us your country and we will point you to the right authority.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you can request a return within 30 days of receiving your item. To be eligible, the item must be unused, uninstalled and in the packaging it arrived in. Once a part has been fitted, bonded or used it cannot be returned, so please test the part before installation. To start a return, email sales@iProGadget.com.

What should I do if the part arrives damaged or faulty?

Inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If an item is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, contact us at sales@iProGadget.com straight away with photos or a short unboxing video, and we will arrange a replacement or a refund.

Do you provide repair guides or installation tutorials?

No. We are a supplier of replacement parts only. We are not a repair shop, and we do not provide repair guides, tutorials or step-by-step installation support. Every part we sell is intended to be installed by a professional technician at a qualified repair shop, which also gives the best result: a technician can transfer the small components, handle the adhesives and test the finished repair. Please do not attempt the installation yourself if you have no previous repair experience, as these assemblies are fragile and incorrect handling can damage them permanently. We sell parts only and do not accept responsibility for installation carried out by the customer. Our warranty covers the part itself and remains valid until the part is installed. If a problem appears after the repair, please take the device back to the repair shop that fitted the part so they can inspect the installation and test the device.
