1. A photo of your computer. A clear photo of the laptop itself, plus the model / service label on the bottom cover (or the model name shown in Settings → About).
2. Touch or non-touch, resolution and refresh rate. Tell us whether your screen is a touch screen or a non-touch screen, its resolution, and its refresh rate in Hz. If you are not sure, just send the model number and we will check it for you.
3. Photos of your old screen. Once the machine is opened, a full photo of the back of the old screen and a close-up of the label or barcode sticker on it. That label carries the exact panel part number, which removes any doubt about which screen you need.

How do I tell whether I need this panel or the 40-pin touch version?

Two checks. Look at the label on the back of the screen you are removing — if it says 40 pins, or mentions 00UR888, 00UR889 or B156HAK02, that is the touch version and this listing will not fit it. Try the screen — if the machine responds to finger or pen input, it is the touch version. This listing is the 30-pin non-touch panel: same size, same resolution, same 250 cd/m² panel, but a different connector and no touch layer, so the two are not interchangeable.

Is this screen panel supplied with brackets, or without?

Both variants exist in the market and Lenovo machines in this family take either. Most P52s panels have small metal tabs on the top and bottom edges; some are supplied tabless and held with adhesive. Look at the edges of the screen you are removing — if it has metal tabs, this is the version you need; if the edges are plain, tell us when you order and we will confirm what we can send. Either way the display and the connector are the same; only the mounting differs.

My P52s has a 4K screen — will this fit?

No. The P52s was also offered with a 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD) IPS panel, which is a different part with its own part number. This listing is the 1920 x 1080 FHD version. Check the resolution on the label before ordering, and if it reads 4K or 3840 x 2160, send us the label code and we will tell you what you need.

Is this a touch screen, and what else is in the box?

This is the non-touch display panel only — no touch layer, no digitizer, no bezel, no hinges, no screws and no eDP cable. The eDP cable is not included because on most repairs it stays with the machine and is undamaged. It is the standard panel that repair shops use to build a touch screen assembly, so if you are assembling a touch screen yourself this is the base panel you want. If your machine has touch input and you want a ready-to-install panel instead, you need the 40-pin on-cell version.
