How do I tell whether I need this panel or the 40-pin touch version?
Two checks. Look at the label on the back of the screen you are removing — if it says 40 pins, that is the on-cell touch version and this listing will not fit it. Try the screen — if the Chromebook responds to finger or pen input, it is the touch version. This listing is the 30-pin non-touch panel. Both are 14.0″ 1366 x 768 and both are sold for the same Chromebook 14-db machine code, so the label is the reliable check.
Is this screen glossy or matte?
